NiSi has released a brand-new 100mm Filter Holder Kit for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm F2.8 S, which allows the convenient use of two 100mm-wide, 2mm-thick square filters. On the basis of our popular V6 system, we have added some design features to this new kit.
The kit consists of two main components, a front filter holder and a filter holder adapter ring. The filter holder can quickly be mounted onto the adapter ring, after first screwing and locking the adapter ring in place over the lens hood mount of the NIKKOR Z 14-24mm F2.8 S.
The pull-and-release locking lever on the front holder helps to provide a reliable connection and allows the holder to be rotated and aligned through 360° orientation. This optimizes the use of graduated neutral density and other filters by allowing changes in position of the kit.
The newly designed locking system on the front holder features an integrated wheel, which can be easily rotated to lock the holder and filters in position. Its ergonomics have been improved from the previous V6 holder.
The holder also features left-and-right pressed clips taken from our V6 system, rather than the traditional top-and-bottom design. It is very smooth to insert and remove filters.
The whole filter holder system is made of aviation-grade aluminum with a black powder coating, which makes it durable and lightweight for landscape photographers. It has no vignetting even when used at 14mm.
